Think Then Play Privacy Policy

Think Then Play (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use the Think Then Play website and mobile application (collectively, the “Service”).
Guest Access (No Account Required)
You can use parts of Think Then Play without creating an account (“Guest Mode”). In Guest Mode, you can browse and access features that do not require an account. Registration is only required for account-based features such as saving and syncing your content across devices, and accessing personalised account data.
1) Information We Collect
a) Information you provide
If you choose to create an account or use account-based features, we may collect:
- Name or display name (if provided)
- Email address (for account access, authentication, and support)
- Saved training screens, drills, preferences, onboarding selections, and settings
- User submissions (such as drill titles, descriptions, or video links you choose to submit)
- Support communications you send to us
b) Information collected automatically
Whether you use the Service in Guest Mode or with an account, we may collect limited technical and usage data:
- Device type, operating system, and app version/build
- Basic app usage data (e.g., features used, screens viewed, session length)
- Crash logs and performance diagnostics
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data such as medical records, precise location, biometric identifiers, or payment card details.
2) How We Use Your Information
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- Create and manage user accounts and authentication (only if you register)
- Save and load your training screens, drills, and preferences (only for account-based features)
- Personalise the experience based on your selections
- Understand how features are used to improve usability and performance
- Detect crashes, diagnose errors, and improve app stability
- Respond to support requests and communicate with you
- Protect the security and integrity of the Service
3) Analytics, Diagnostics, and Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party services to help operate and improve the Service:
- Google Analytics for Firebase – aggregated usage insights.
- Firebase Crashlytics – crash and stability monitoring.
- Firebase Authentication – account login (not required in Guest Mode).
- Firebase Firestore – storage of saved preferences and content.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use collected data for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
4) Sharing of Information
We may share information only in limited circumstances:
- With service providers who help operate the Service
- When required by law or to protect users, the Service, or our rights
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
5) Children’s Privacy
Think Then Play may be used by athletes under 18 with parent or guardian supervision. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate consent.
6) Data Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your data. However, no system is 100% secure.
7) Your Choices and Rights
- Use Guest Mode to browse features that do not require an account
- Access or update your account information in the app (if you register)
- Delete your account and associated data
Account Deletion
You can delete your account directly in the app by going to Menu → Profile → Delete Account. When you do so, we will remove your account information and associated data from our active systems, subject to limited retention for legal or security purposes.
If you cannot access the app, you may also request deletion by emailing support@thinkthenplay.com.
8) Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to operate the Service and maintain security. Some data may remain in backups for a limited time after deletion.
9) International Users
Your information may be processed in Canada, the United States, or other locations where our service providers operate.
10) Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated policy.
